Intelligene is a biotech and data company that provides genetic testing and personalised health recommendations. To serve a growing user base, they needed a scalable platform that could automate manual processes, support real-time updates, and improve both researcher and user experience. Praelexis was brought on to architect and build a data-driven platform powered by cloud infrastructure and machine learning.

The original PDF-based reporting system was slow, static, and difficult for users to interpret. Delays in delivering recommendations reduced the impact of the service, and researchers struggled to keep up with the pace of new genetic research. The system lacked interactivity and scalability, making it difficult to grow the service or maintain up-to-date recommendations.

Praelexis developed a secure, scalable, cloud-hosted platform with dynamic data flows, integrating with medical schemes and enabling next-day updates based on new research. A fine-tuned large language model assists researchers by accelerating the incorporation of new findings. The result is a more responsive and user-friendly experience, with real-time personalisation and cross-platform accessibility.
